Now hiring: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Nuckolls County, Nebraska. You will work on a new-build development. The role involves mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts. Requirements: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
