Powder coating operator — Walsh County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a powder coating operator in Walsh County, North Dakota. The job is at a powder coating unit. On the job you will handle: • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time • Reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse Requirements: • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects Six days a week, one day off.
