Rebar fixer • Borden County, Texas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Borden County, Texas. You will work at a high-rise construction project. Day-to-day duties: • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
