We are recruiting: shakeout operator (Texas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Gillespie County, Texas. You will be based on the moulding line. You should have: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal You will check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Contact us to fix an interview.
