Brick and block layer — White County

Join our team: we are hiring a brick and block layer in White County, Arkansas. You will be based at a residential building site. What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Your main tasks: • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
