HSE officer • Trinity County, Texas

Now hiring: we are hiring a HSE officer in Trinity County, Texas. You will work on a road and infrastructure project. Ideal candidate: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Day to day you will enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift. 4+ years on the tools preferred. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
