Urgent requirement: lathe programmer-operator (Virginia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in City of Radford, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls Day-to-day duties: • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
