Immediate opening: packaging worker (Texas)

Now hiring: we are hiring a packaging worker in Bastrop County, Texas. The job is in a cold-storage packing unit. What we are looking for: • Able to follow health and safety procedures • Previous experience on a packing or production line • Understanding of basic food hygiene for food packing On the job you will handle: • Change over film rolls and reset the heat sealer • Operate the filling and sealing machine on the line • Seal cartons with a tape gun or hot-melt glue • Record production counts on the shift sheet • Apply labels, barcodes and batch codes to each pack • Wipe down and sanitise the line following hygiene rules Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
