Hand presser — Stokes County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a hand presser in Stokes County, North Carolina. On a typical shift you will set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing. What we are looking for: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory 5+ years on the tools preferred.
