Slinger signaller wanted in Orange County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Orange County, North Carolina. The job is on an offshore oil and gas platform. Your main tasks: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position You should have: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
