Now hiring: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Coal County, Oklahoma. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Day-to-day duties: • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints Ideal candidate: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level Part-time with flexible hours.
