We are recruiting: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Page County, Virginia. You will work on a new-build development. The role involves spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go. You should have: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Full-time, day shift.
