Vacancy available: precision welder (Indiana)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a precision welder in Johnson County, Indiana. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Day-to-day duties: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Pay around $26 per hour, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
