Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Giles County, Tennessee. You will be based in a non-ferrous casting shop. What we are looking for: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Day to day you will operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
