Site labourer — Pawnee County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a site labourer in Pawnee County, Nebraska. You will be based on a building construction site. Day to day you will dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors. Requirements: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain Full-time with occasional weekends.
