Single needle operator • Blackpool, England

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a single needle operator in Blackpool, England. You will be based on an export house sewing floor. The role involves: • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching Requirements: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance We offer £15 per hour plus benefits.
