Vacancy available: kitchen porter (Michigan)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a kitchen porter in Alger County, Michigan. You will work at a busy restaurant kitchen. The role involves: • Help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room • Polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass • Hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method • Empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard Ideal candidate: • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers • Able to work fast and keep up under service pressure • Keen eye for cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
