Day to day you will tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use. Ideal candidate: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams 3+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours.
