Now hiring: we are hiring a carpenter in Ijebu North East, Ogun State. The job is on a commercial fit-out site. On the job you will handle: • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish Requirements: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience ₦155,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
