Overlocker operator • Galveston County, Texas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Galveston County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Day-to-day duties: • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges Six days a week, one day off.
