Offshore rigger — Funtua

Great opportunity: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Funtua, Katsina State. The job is at a busy construction site. The role involves: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
