Day-to-day duties: • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams Ideal candidate: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • A good head for heights for tower crane work Part-time with flexible hours.
