Demolition labourer — Pittsylvania County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a demolition labourer in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean Requirements: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites Full-time, day shift.
