Single needle operator — Okigwe

Vacancy available: we are hiring a single needle operator in Okigwe, Imo State. The role involves keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers. You should have: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
