Immediate opening: brickwork mason (Washington)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Mason County, Washington. You will be based on a scaffolded high-rise site. You should have: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Your main tasks: • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters Six days a week, one day off.
