Immediate opening: we are hiring a press machine operator in Darke County, Ohio. The job is in a sheet metal stamping unit. Ideal candidate: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards Day-to-day duties: • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts 4+ years on the tools preferred.
