Quality control inspector — Barnsley

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a quality control inspector in Barnsley, England. You should have: • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade On a typical shift you will inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
