Production line operator — Saint John the Baptist Parish

Join our team: we are hiring a production line operator in Saint John the Baptist Parish, Louisiana. The job is in a packaging factory. Requirements: • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety On the job you will handle: • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
