Blocklayer — Morrill County

Now hiring: we are hiring a blocklayer in Morrill County, Nebraska. On the job you will handle: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays Requirements: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $4,800 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
