Immediate opening: cnc setter-operator (Nebraska)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Hayes County, Nebraska. You will be based in a tool room. Day-to-day duties: • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed You should have: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code Full-time, day shift.
