Blocklayer wanted in Geauga County

Join our team: we are hiring a blocklayer in Geauga County, Ohio. You will be based on a scaffolded high-rise site. Your main tasks: • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $210 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
