Now hiring: we are hiring a membrane applicator in San Bernardino County, California. The job is at an industrial plant. On a typical shift you will apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling; lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding; seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations. What we are looking for: • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane Six days a week, one day off.
