Tile setter — Knott County

Now hiring: we are hiring a tile setter in Knott County, Kentucky. You will work in a kitchen and bathroom refurbishment. The role involves set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line; screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling; fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
