We are recruiting: we are hiring a roofer in Pottawatomie County, Kansas. Day-to-day duties: • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses • Insulate and ventilate the roof void • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs Requirements: • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • A good head for heights and steady balance • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) Rotating shifts.
