Great opportunity: press machine operator (Connecticut)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a press machine operator in South Central Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. The job is on a production line. The role involves: • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature Requirements: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
