We are recruiting: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Stone County, Mississippi. The job is in a toolroom. The role involves: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors You should have: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Performance bonus on top of base pay.
