Panel welder — Franklin Parish

Join our team: we are hiring a panel welder in Franklin Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a busy production line. Day-to-day duties: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls What we are looking for: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Full-time with occasional weekends.
