HGV driver • Caroline County, Virginia

Now hiring: we are hiring a HGV driver in Caroline County, Virginia. You will work at a busy distribution depot. Day-to-day duties: • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars What we are looking for: • Valid digital tachograph card • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
