Your main tasks: • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio You should have: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Pay around $9,000 per project, based on your experience.
