Oven operator — Howard County

Join our team: we are hiring an oven operator in Howard County, Indiana. The job is at a neighbourhood confectionery. On the job you will handle: • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel You should have: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • 2+ years' experience as a baker 3+ years on the tools preferred.
