Hoist operator wanted in Potiskum

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a hoist operator in Potiskum, Yobe State. You will be based on a bridge and infrastructure project. Day-to-day duties: • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands Ideal candidate: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Current medical and eyesight certificate Six days a week, one day off.
