Immediate opening: site carpenter (Nebraska)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a site carpenter in Red Willow County, Nebraska. You will be based in a bespoke joinery workshop. Your main tasks: • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work Part-time with flexible hours. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
