Now hiring: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Calloway County, Kentucky. On a typical shift you will trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation. You should have: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Performance bonus on top of base pay.
