Aluminium tig welder — Boone County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Boone County, Nebraska. You will work on an industrial construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run You should have: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
