Now hiring: we are hiring a baker in Jasper County, Indiana. You will work at a cake shop. You should have: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics The role involves shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
