Immediate opening: we are hiring a confectioner in Snyder County, Pennsylvania. The role involves weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Able to work early-morning and night shifts Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
