Scaffolder — Cheshire County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a scaffolder in Cheshire County, New Hampshire. The job is at a shipyard. Day to day you will tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors; install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts; read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class; lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips; tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner. What we are looking for: • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • Able to read basic scaffold drawings Full-time with occasional weekends.
