Immediate opening: we are hiring a rigger in Buffalo County, Wisconsin. What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Your main tasks: • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
