We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Matagorda County, Texas. You will work on an industrial construction site. The role involves: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator Requirements: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
