Immediate opening: we are hiring a panel welder in Wabasha County, Minnesota. You will be based at an automobile body shop. Day to day you will grind back and re-weld any defective runs; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding. Requirements: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Part-time with flexible hours.
